  • AYANA Resort and Spa welcomes new General Manager amidst opening of RIMBA Jimbaran Bali

JIMBARAN - BALI, 21 November 2013 – AYANA Resort and Spa Bali has announced the appointment of Roger Habermacher as General Manager, to oversee the continued evolution of the resort as well as RIMBA Jimbaran Bali.

Roger brings over 20 years of hospitality and hotel management experience to the role. His career started in the kitchen as a chef in his native Switzerland, before he joined the Hyatt Hotels Group. Most recently, he was General Manager of Park Hyatt Beijing before moving to Bali for his new role.

Roger’s appointment at AYANA comes as the award-winning resort opens another unique 5-star hotel in Bali, RIMBA Jimbaran Bali, within the 77-hectare property above Jimbaran Bay managed by Capella Hotel Group. The ocean-front AYANA offers 290 rooms and suites and 78 private villas, traditional Balinese design, 12 world-class dining venues including the iconic Rock Bar, and the award-winning Thermes Marins Bali Spa.
